3. Collaboratively design inquiry-based knowledge building software for students.

4. Offer workshops on current and upgraded programs and technologies. Provide open forums for technology dialogue and individual/group support in the visual mediums.

5. Work in collaboration with the other facilities outside of the Learning Center to strengthen our resources for keener student, faculty and staff support.

6. Update resources to be on the cutting edge of technology, and maintain a high visual and technological aesthetic.

The Faculty Media Resource Center of Brooklyn Campus, Long Island University was established to assist faculty in creating and using computer-based curricular resources. We provide consulting, design, and programming for custom multimedia applications, digitization of educational resources, and providing and maintaining public work spaces created specifically for faculty curricular development use. The FMRC staff are available for individual consultation, and also offer workshops and presentations in the latest uses of technology in the classroom.
