Cancer Screening and Prevention Module
This module addresses basic information related to cancer screening and prevention education. Please view the first video segments 1-4 below. After viewing each video, look at the corresponding reflection questions and think about how you would answer each question. Be prepared to share your responses with your classmates. Viewing the videos in the "Supplementary" section is optional.
This module uses an applied format as its main method for addressing cancer screening and prevention strategies. Older adults from an Afro-Caribbean background were selected as the target population for the video segments in part due to their high incidence and mortality for certain cancers and as an opportunity to address cultural values.
